Why does your heart flutter and panic? I have not given you a spirit of fear, panic or anxiety. Be still and wait for Me. Cultivate a lifestyle of stillness and serenity and watch as I work mightily on your behalf.
Why are you cast down oh my soul and disquieted within? Wait on Me and find strength stirring . Do not give in to the volcanic eruption of emotions that swirl in the air around. Tune in to Heaven’s frequency and hear My voice above the clamour and chaos.
Draw yourself away from the whirlwind of worries and the tsunami of stress. Hide in Me. My name is a strong tower, the righteous run in and they are safe. Find refuge in My arms. Nestle in close to me and listen to my heartbeat. Do not be entangled again to the heavy yokes that oppress and hold you captive. My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Doubt, terror, fear, hopelessness, worry, stress, anxiety, frenzy and foreboding have no place in My presence. Come to me and unload your burdens. Be at rest and realise that I am sovereign. I AM that I AM. I am peace. I am Joy. I am strength. I am wisdom. I am enough. I am omniscient. I am here. I am sufficient. I am yours.
Be still and know that I am God.
Father, thank You that You are in control and You are a safe refuge in times of trouble. I choose to run and hide in You. I refuse fear and despair. Fill me with Your hope, peace and joy and love. In Jesus mighty name! Amen.
